About.IACA is developing technical training centres, apprenticeship programs and skills assessments for Tanzanian tradespeople. Connecting tradespeople with Employers in Tanzania and abroad.

Established in 2021IACA will establish the facilities, develop the training curriculum and qualifications, and train the trainers from the local market. IACA will also be able to provide customers wishing to test the competency of their existing workforce, an “on-the-job” service. They will have their facilities approved to test staff, approve their own trainers to carry out testing - all under an approved and accepted ECITB quality assured system.

Our GoalIACA, in partnership with ECITB, will become the accreditation agency, enabling other public and private training providers to attain accreditation (national and international) allowing them to deliver world class qualifications and competency levels to many more Tanzanian apprentices.

Peter GathercoleMeet our Managing Director
From diesel and heavy fuel power plants to gas infrastructure , Peter brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. Working with Mirrlees Blackstone, Rolls Royce, Caterpillar and GE, Peter has overseen the development of multiple power generation projects in both utility and captive power applications. Peter has also led a renewable energy company in East Africa developing alternative fuels for both industrial and domestic markets and retains a keen interest in impacting deforestation. Peter has been working and building capacity across Africa for more than 38 years and now spearheads the development of a new training company, providing apprenticeship programs to both students and employers, supported by international accredited bodies from across the world. His passion and drive, initiated by his personal experience as an apprentice for an engineering company, has inspired this new venture, which will provide hundreds of Tanzanians with a passport to the world of work. |
